Copyright and DMCA
The written copy, the tax tables and the code of this site belong to us. If you believe something here infringes your copyright, send a notice and we will look at it.
Last updated · What changed: Checkout now says plainly that payments are not open; Privacy rewritten and a copyright page added.
What this covers
The page copy, the step-by-step explanations and the figures tables, the calculator logic, the PDF and CSV layouts, the design, the mark and the code. It does not cover the IRS forms, schedules, notices and fact sheets we link to: those are US government works, and we quote only the rules from them. It also does not cover what you make with the tools. Your numbers stay in your browser, the PDF and CSV are generated on your device, and we hold no copy of them.
What you may do
You may use the calculators and print or download the worksheet PDF and CSV for your own tax return, or for a return you are helping with, as often as you like. Linking to any page is always fine, and quoting a short extract with a link back is fine. You may not copy the site’s written copy or tables wholesale, resell or redistribute the worksheet as a product, or present this site’s wording, numbers or design as your own.
How to send a takedown notice
Email support@notaxonovertime.site with the subject “Copyright notice”. Under 17 U.S.C. §512(c)(3), a notice needs to include:
- Your physical or electronic signature.
- Identification of the copyrighted work you say is infringed.
- The exact URL on this site of the material you say is infringing, specific enough for us to find it.
- Your name, address, telephone number and email address.
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent or the law.
- A statement that the information in the notice is accurate, and, under penalty of perjury, that you are the copyright owner or authorised to act for them.
What happens next
We remove or change material that a valid notice identifies. If you believe material was removed by mistake, send a counter-notice to the same address with the same detail and your consent to a court’s jurisdiction. We keep a record of valid notices.
